FUNDED SECTORS

 

Agriculture & Livestock

 

Companies and individuals registered as farmers can apply for funding its activities under Measure 4.1. Investments in agricultural holdings under the Programme for Rural Development. Finances projects to create perennials purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment for livestock farms, construction costs of farm buildings, advisory services and under certain conditions - purchase of land.

Businesses in the sector of agriculture, planning to develop another type of activity other than farming, can receive funds to start a new business in measure 6.4. Investment support for agricultural activities. The measure finances projects that are realized on the territory of the villages, in rural tourism, light industry and services.

 

 

Production

 

Businesses in the manufacturing sector of the economy *, can apply for the following programs:

 

Micro-enterprises (employing up to 9 people including) that operate in rural communities can apply under Measure 6.4. Investment support for agricultural activities under the Programme for Rural Development. Finance the costs of construction and repair PRODUCTION premises, purchase of machinery and equipment, software, means of transport activity, introduction of international standards, consulting costs.

 

All other production companies can apply for the schemes under the Operational Program "Competitiveness". Under the various schemes of the program funds projects related to technological modernization, increasing energy efficiency, deployment of ICT technologies for business management, introduction of international standards and certification, development of innovative products.

 

All enterprises in the manufacturing sector can apply for funding of projects related to staff training, as well as projects to improve working conditions for schemes under the Operational Programme "Development of Human Resources".

Innovations

 

Innovation is the sector in the economy, which is paying increasing attention. Funding for projects related to the development of innovative products and technologies, marketing innovation and commercialization in mass production are provided in several schemes under the Operational Program "Competitiveness". Finance the costs of remuneration of staff engaged in the development of innovation, costs for testing innovative product, costs of materials, units, assemblies and parts needed for the production of prototype costs for exhibitions, investments to purchase equipment necessary production of the new product.

 

 

Services and trade

 

Enterprises operating in the service sector and trade have considerably fewer opportunities for European funding compared to those operating in the manufacturing sector.

 

If the enterprise is a micro (employing up to 9 people inclusive) and operates on the territory of villages, it can apply under Measure 6.4. Investment support for agricultural activities under the Programme for Rural Development. Finance the costs of construction and repair of buildings, purchase of equipment, purchase of vehicles for business, introduction of international standards, consulting costs.

 

 

Processing of agricultural products

 

Existing or new enterprises, agricultural products processing, apply for funding under Measure 4.2. Investments in processing / marketing of agricultural products under the Rural Development Programme. Finance the costs of construction, purchase of machinery and equipment, increasing energy efficiency, purchase of vehicles, the introduction of international standards, consulting services and under certain conditions - the purchase of land and buildings.

 

If your company falls into one of the following sectors of the food industry, it is eligible for funding under Measure 4.2 .:

• Milk and milk products

• Meat and meat products

• Fruits and vegetables, including mushrooms

• Honey,

• Grains, mill products and starch products

• Vegetable and animal oils and fats

• Technical and medical cultures, including rose oil and herbs

• Ready-made foods for cattle

• Grape must, wine and vinegar,

• Energy production through processing plant and animal products with the exception of biomass of fish products.

 

 

Rural tourism

 

Projects for rural / alternative tourism are funded under Measure 6.4. Investment support for agricultural activities under the Programme for Rural Development. Which finances projects for construction or expansion of tourist sites - guest houses, villas, hotels, motels - up to 20 rooms for accommodation, restaurants. The projects must be implemented within a rural community. Finance the costs of construction, purchase of equipment, furniture, vehicles activity, introduction of international standards, consulting costs.

 

Beneficiaries under Measure 6.4. Investment support for agricultural activities are newly established or existing micro (employing up to 9 people including), located in a rural community. Under Measure 6.4. may apply also each registered farmer whose holding has standard production volume over EUR 8,000.
